Delta Dental Foundation Awards $350,000 to 57 Nonprofits Advancing Oral Health
OKEMOS, Mich. – The Delta Dental Foundation (DDF) has awarded nearly $350,000 to 57 nonprofits advancing oral health in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. These investments will support programs that expand access to dental care, enhance oral health education and inspire young people to pursue oral health careers.
The DDF’s Mini-Grants Program supports community-based nonprofits whose work aligns with the goals outlined in its strategic plan. Grants are awarded in amounts up to $10,000.
“These grants are powerful investments in community health,” said Holli Seabury, EdD, executive director of the DDF. “A single $10,000 award can provide vital equipment, support oral health education initiatives or enhance care coordination, creating a ripple effect that reaches hundreds or even thousands of patients.”
Recipients were selected through a competitive review process based on several factors, including the number of people served, program innovation, community engagement and the ability to measure success.
