Delta Dental Foundation Awards $300K in Community Oral Health Grants

Mini-Grants Fill Oral Health Gaps for 30 Community Organizations

If you had $5,000 to improve oral health in your community, how would you spend it? For the nonprofits that received a Delta Dental Foundation Community Mini-Grant, the answers ranged from a prenatal oral health integration program to supplies for free dental clinics to a youth mentoring program that introduces children to dental careers.

Corktown Health Opens First LGBTQ+ Affirming Dental Clinic in Michigan

Smile with Pride: Corktown Health is opening the first LGBTQ+ affirming nonprofit dental clinic in Michigan with support from the Delta Dental Foundation (DDF). In Detroit, more than 131,000 people identify as LGBTQ+, representing almost 4% of the population.
