    New Grants and Funding Initiatives

    The Delta Dental Foundation recently approved nearly $500,000 in grants to fund initiatives in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana:

    • $200,000 to North Central Michigan College Foundation for equipment to support the launch of their 16-chair dental hygiene clinic.
    • $100,000 to Upper Great Lakes Family Health to replace outdated equipment in five dental operatories at Sawyer Family Health Center in Gwinn, Michigan.
    • $68,525 to MCHS Family of Services to equip three new dental operatories at the Center for Pediatric Health & Wellness in Detroit.
    • $30,000 to Adventist Medical Evangelism Network for portable dental equipment to support free dental clinics in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
    • $24,204 to Hope Healthcare Services to update equipment for three dental operatories in Avon, Indiana.
    • $21,431 to Covenant Community Care to purchase a panoramic X-ray unit.
    • $20,000 to Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic to support a workforce development program and associated recruitment campaign.
    • $20,000 to MedWish Medworks to support dental care for justice-involved youth in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
    • $10,000 to the Detroit District Dental Society to provide oral health education to six high schools in the Detroit Public School District.
    • $5,000 The Community Health Clinic for an oral health education and prevention initiative for Amish and Mennonite communities in northern Indiana.
